Currently, there isn’t a comprehensive public database that allows for easy research into the renewal status of such historical designs, especially since the specific names of many of these patterns are unknown. It’s plausible that as styles and tastes evolved rapidly over the subsequent decades, renewing a copyright on what might have been considered an “outdated” design at the time may not have been a priority or made economic sense for manufacturers. However, I cannot definitively guarantee this, as direct proof is elusive.
