Your Creative Contribution: What We’re Looking For From Our Design Team

As a valued member of The Graphics Fairy Design Team, your primary role will be to inspire and engage our community with your incredible junk journal creations. We’re looking for commitment, creativity, and a consistent passion for the craft.

• Journal Creation: You will be responsible for creating one stunning junk journal approximately every other month. This translates to a total of five unique journals over your one-year term with us. Each journal should be a testament to your artistic flair and love for vintage aesthetics.
• Visual Storytelling: For each journal, we require 7-10 high-quality, large photographs that beautifully capture your creation from various angles. These images, accompanied by a descriptive write-up about your journal’s theme, process, and inspiration, will be featured on our popular blog, reaching thousands of engaged readers.
• Utilizing Our Resources: We encourage and require the use of a minimum of 10 distinct images or printables sourced directly from The Graphics Fairy Premium Membership Site in each of your journals. This showcases the versatility and richness of our extensive digital collection.
• Video Showcase: A crucial part of your contribution involves creating a 10-minute video tour of your finished junk journal. In this video, you’ll walk viewers through your creation, highlighting the Graphics Fairy images you’ve incorporated and sharing insights into your design process. These engaging videos will be proudly featured on our popular YouTube channel, or optionally on your own if it has a substantial following. We often host videos on our channel every month to maximize exposure.
• Social Media Engagement: We ask that you promote your featured projects across your personal social media channels. While having a massive following isn’t a prerequisite, your enthusiasm for sharing your work with your network is highly valued.
• Reliability and Deadlines: Meeting agreed-upon deadlines is essential for the smooth operation of the team and timely content publication. We seek dedicated individuals who can consistently deliver their creative contributions.

• Exclusive Team Community: You’ll gain access to our private Design Team Channel on Slack. • Video Submission – A Must: Provide a direct link to your YouTube channel or a link to a sample video you have created showcasing your work. Applications without at least one link to a video will regrettably not be considered. We rely on these videos to assess the quality of your video production and presentation skills, which are crucial for this role.
• Showcase Your Portfolio: Send good quality photos, or a link to an online gallery, of 3-5 of your most impressive creative projects. These projects should ideally reflect your junk journaling style and use of vintage elements.
• Connect with Your Work: Include links to any other platforms where we can view your creative work, such as Instagram, Facebook, or a personal blog/website, if you have them.
• Previous Team Experience: List any other Design Teams you are currently a part of, if applicable.
• Recognitions & Teachings: If you’ve been featured in magazine publications or have taught creative classes, please share details about these accomplishments.
