Hello everyone! I’m Savera, and for my February project with The Graphics Fairy, I’ve crafted a truly distinctive journal. This piece began its life with the intention of being a traditional scrapbook, reminiscent of the cherished memory books we used to create before the vibrant world of junk journaling truly took hold. The foundation of this unique scrapbook was built using a collection of vintage wedding invitations I’ve carefully preserved in my personal stash. These invitations, crafted from a beautifully textured blue/teal cardstock, provide an exceptionally sturdy base, making this journal an ideal vessel for preserving the precious memories of a newlywed couple embarking on their life together.

My artistic journey for this project led me to create a scrapbook junk journal that radiates the timeless allure of French aesthetics. My vision was to marry the serene beauty of teal with the sophisticated elegance characteristic of French-style interiors. The primary source of my inspiration, and the foundation for weaving this tapestry of romance and refinement, came from the invaluable Decorator, Lace Maker, and Chateau Life Bundles available on The Graphics Fairy’s premium membership website.
